The patient started to
complain of numbness of the right lower leg 7 months ago, then the
left and became with paraparesis more pronounced in the right side
with hypalgesia 2 cm above the nipple both sides. MRI done showed a
mass well circumscribed at the level D2-3 anterior to the spinal
cord more to the right. The patient was operated and the lesion was
a calcified schwannoma, which was removed in one piece with the
satellite rootlet after releasing the dentate ligament in the right
side.
The patient in the next day
01-September-2005 regained full power of his lower extremities and
he was complaining only of the wound site pain.
