The patient is a relative to Dr. Hashem Al-Huroob was brought to Shmaisani hospital with clinical history of paraparesis lower limbs with hypalgesia at the level of D6, which progressed over 2 years and with progressive course.

MRI of the lumbar spine performed recently showing a huge mass involving the D7 vertebra destroying its body and compressing the spinal cord circumferential and involving thee lamina and lateral masses.

Laminectomy of the pathologic D7 and the pathologic lateral masses with bilateral exposure of the edges of the dura of the spinal cord . The anterior part of the tumor was attacked fro both sides until no tumor remnants were detected. Using Luque rectangle with sublaminar wires fusion of D6 with D8 was achieved. The patient was put in Reverse Trendelenburg position with Valsalva maneuver and hyperventilation. No CSF leak. Routine closure of the wound.

Smooth postoperative recovery. The power of the feet improved. He was sent to the ward.

The histopathologic report 11-March-2002  was plasmocytoma.

The patient was not seen in the clinic , but be telephone communication 31-March-2021 with the doctor, the patient did not perform radiation and he was doing well and he died 2020 by other causes not related with his disease.

The patient had plasmocytoma , destroying the body and involving the lamina and lateral masses. Radical resection is the proper treatment and fixation is a must.
