Five years ago, we have
suffered a great loss of our teacher, Prof. Tigliev Georgy
Samuilovich. He spent all his life in Leningrad perfecting the
neuro-oncological discipline in neurosurgery. He had a countless
patents and ongoing innovations with his own several versions of
microscopes holding his name and his lost son Sasha. He was a school
in neurosurgery with full modifications and new concepts. He was the
director of Polenova Neurosurgical Institute at USSR era and the
director of Russian-American Association after that in Petersburg.
He was so dynamic, that he spent most of his life in the operating
room. We are from the dust and we go to the dust, but You my father
in neurosurgery, still living in my heart and mind. I am trying hard
to be a copy of your character, but you are the best. For more
